MicroExtract Product Fit and Capability Boundaries
MicroExtract focuses on document intelligence and structured data extraction: define the required output, process a permitted document, review exceptions and use the approved result.
The core workflow
The documented workflow uses an authorised tenant workspace, an approved mapping profile and validated output templates. Processing and business approval are separate steps.
An example on the marketing site demonstrates a concept. Only an actual authorised processing job can demonstrate the result for a customer document.
Check the capability needed for your workflow
| Capability | Documented scope | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Template Builder | Select approved mapping and validate output templates | Not unrestricted schema redesign for every user. |
| Structured exports | Approved Excel, CSV, JSON and XML templates | Formats depend on plan and configuration. |
| Confidence and review | Signals and reasons for investigation | A score does not override a business-rule failure. |
| API and webhooks | Subject to approved customer configuration | Do not assume unpublished endpoints or event contracts. |
| Governed learning | Controlled tenant-specific capability under preparation | Not automatic global self-learning. |
What needs separate confirmation
Confirm file types, limits, active templates, detailed confidence visibility and any integration in the actual workspace. Do not infer production availability from a roadmap, competitor page or sales diagram.
Use the secure application for real documents. Homepage attachment delivery is not currently offered by this content release; use only the delivery options available in your authorised workspace.
A product evaluation should end with usable evidence
Bring a permitted sample, required fields, output format and known exception. Compare the result with reviewed ground truth and record what still needs human attention.
Assess repeated use and accepted output, not only a successful upload or a visually impressive demo.
